If you call the number, details of the registered item, ownership and lost or stolen status if known* will be verified within minutes by our highly trained and security vetted operators.
The strictly controlled systems and protocols we maintain have been carefully developed over many years and the fact that the ISR holds data on new vehicles and their owners on behalf of 13 vehicle manufacturers reflects the reputation we have for securely recording, maintaining and handling sensitive data.
* Every weekday we receive from the National Police Improvement Authority (NPIA) the PNC LOS file, often returning to them corrected VINs. We are therefore able to provide a vehicle's stolen or recovered status and because records on the ISR are never deleted can provide information on vehicles when this has been removed from the PNC. You can also confirm if a vehicle has been cloned, either by phoning the ISR or by visiting www.ISRcodecheck.com.
